With Narendra Modi all set to become the prime minister, India's most-wanted don, Dawood Ibrahim, has relocated himself to an unknown location close to the Af-Pak border, which is under the Taliban. His base has been in Karachi.
During the poll campaign, Modi had told a Gujarati news channel that he would bring Dawood to India from Pakistan if he comes to power. Now that Modi is in power, the general expectation of the intelligence community is that he will tighten the screws on Dawood. Fearing a commando-type operation, Dawood is believed to have shifted his base to a remote corner and got the ISI to beef up his security.
"With Modi coming to power, he is mortally afraid," an intelligence official said. It is expected that Modi may seek the services of Ajit Doval, retired chief of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) who is known for his brilliant operational capabilities, to zero in on the don. Doval is currently associated with the Vivekananda centre in New Delhi.
BJP has already started adopting a strong position vis-a-vis Pakistan. In a recent TV debate, senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari made it clear that the new government will have "zero tolerance" to terrorism. He said the response of the new dispensation will be vastly different from that of the erstwhile Manmohan Singh-led UPA government, which was afraid to strike.
Sushilkumar Shinde, home minister in the UPA government, had only talked about bringing Dawood back to India and had claimed that the government was in touch with the FBI for it. But RK Singh, who was the then Union home secretary and is currently with BJP, had pooh-poohed Shinde's claim. Singh too is known to be keen on targeting Dawood and is expected to help the new government in it.
It's not only Dawood who has done the vanishing act, even many members of his gang in Mumbai have pulled out of the metropolis. Though the police is under the Congress-NCP-led Maharashtra government, central agencies can pick up people suspected of links with terror networks and organised crime.
Former IPS officer YC Pawar, the man who effected the first breakthrough in the investigation into the March 1993 Mumbai serial blasts masterminded by Dawood in tandem with Pakistan's ISI, is of the opinion that the don can indeed be brought to India. He had told dna recently: "Modi is a man of tremendous will power and a go-getter. These qualities are needed at the topmost level to operationalise a plan to eject Dawood out of Pakistan. I am not saying this as a member of BJP but as a professional cop who has dealt with organised crime for several years. It should not be a difficult task."
Incidentally, Dawood's chief lieutenant Chhota Shakeel had told dna a few months ago: "Dawoodbhai koyi halwa nahin hai ke usko uthake koi bhi le jaa sakta hai. (Dawood is not a piece of halwa that anyone can take him away)."
Before any action is taken against Dawood, the new government is likely to direct the income tax department to dispose of Dawood's 12 properties in central Mumbai which are in its custody. These properties were put up for auction twice, but in vain.

Sadly, Priyanka G has been let off by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) by simply paying a fine. However, Karti Chidambaram, son of Mr. P Chidambaram was found having six DINs and may face more heat than Mrs. Vadra.
His case prima facie attracts provisions of Section 266A of the Companies Act. The regional director of MCA has asked Karti to explain this within 15 days.

KEJRIWAL IN TIHAR JAIL FOR CONTEMPT OF COURT-NOT BEHAVING LIKE AAM ADMI.

Mr. Kejriwal has a bad habit of calling everyone Corrupt.He thinks it is Freedom of Speech.Infact he is fooling India still after debacle of not winning more than 4/450 seats in Lok Sabha.
After Nitin Gadkari filed defamation case again Kejriwal, the court asked Kejriwal to prove the charges.

Since Kejriwal's allegation were baseless, he had no single proof....
Hence Court asked him to sign a Bail Bond or Personal Bond or face the arrest.
The Krantikari Kejriwal thought this is the best way to come into limelight by getting arrested.
Hence, he rejected to sign the bond saying his party ethics does not allow him to sign any Bail bond.

As per law, in a criminal defamation case a person will not go to jail if he signs a bail bond or personal bond. But Kejriwal refused both.
Court requested him to act like an aam admi. On which Kejriwal said - My party ethics doesn't allow me to sign bail bond.
But wait a minute,

in March, when AAP members were arrested for attack on BJP Headquarters, same party had sought bail for its 14 members.
So why not now ??
Why to create Anarchy ?
Kejriwal does not want to prove charges, does not want to apologize to Gadkari, does not want to furnish bond, does not want to follow law. What does he want ??
After 7 out of 7 performance of BJP in LS2014 elections in Delhi, AAP is desperate to gain public attention and subsequently, public sympathy. So what could be better than going to jail and setting up a DHARNA right in front of it - proper movie style!

10 INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITIES TO OPEN CAMPUSES IN SRI LANKA

SRI LANKA A NEIGHBOR -INDIA NEEDS TO REACH OUT AS CONGRESS GONE.
Sri Lanka is opening up its public university system attracting significant investment with plans to allow 10 private universities to operate locally by 2020, an official said Wednesday.

Sunil Jayantha Navaratne, secretary in the country's higher education ministry, outlined ambitious plans to reporters that aim to attract 50,000 foreign students to study at these private universities in addition to local youth, Xinhua reported.

"The plan is to allow these universities to establish themselves in different parts of the country," he said.

In October 2013, the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) received parliamentary approval to set up a branch in Sri Lanka.

The UCLAN branch campus, which is identified as a strategic development project, will be the first of its kind foreign university to be established in Sri Lanka to attract fresh investments and mitigate local students leaving the island for foreign qualifications.

The $120-million university is expected to accommodate anywhere between 4,000 and 6,000 students.

A large number of foreign universities have sought permission to establish their branches in Sri Lanka, including India's Manipal University and Singapore's Raffles University.

Apart from these, Sri Lanka Telecom too has sought approval to establish a university, Navaratne said.

Moves by the government to establish private universities have received severe criticism from student unions and university teachers based at public universities who contended that state-run universities would be neglected by the government.

Sri Lanka has a free education policy allowing low cost higher education to poor students.
